Summer Reading Program 2018 Special Programs

Every Wednesday @ 1:00—Water Wednesdays (Ages 10 & under, with an adult). Enjoy water activities in the courtyard. Plan to get WET! Wear a swimsuit, & don’t forget your towel & sunscreen.

Every Thursday @ 11:15—Wachenmarkt Storytime (All ages). Purchase local produce and other goodies at the Mt. Angel Wachenmarkt on Thursdays from 9:00-1:00 and attend storytime in the library courtyard at 11:15.

June 21 @ 11:30—Oregon Rocks! (All ages). A one-hour program with hands-on activities and rockin’ specimens that explores the forces that have shaped Oregon’s landscape over time. Brought to you by the Museum of Natural and Cultural History.

June 26 @ 3:30—Alex Zerbe: The Zaniac Comedy Show (Families). A Zany program featuring physical comedy, juggling and magic!

July 10 @ 3:30—Mo Philips (Families). A musical comedy show full of goofy music and laughs!

July 17 @ 3:30—Creature Teachers (All ages). Prepare yourself for the ultimate reptile adventure! This hands-on presentation provides a live intimate look at some of the world's most fascinating creatures.

July 24 @ 3:30—Angel Ocasio (Families). A high energy one-man interactive variety show that combines physical comedy, jokes, juggling, object balancing, comedy, magic and impromptu comedy situations. (Bi-lingual).

July 31 @ 3:30—KC Puppetree (All ages). A program featuring lively and friendly puppets made out of re-used and up-cycled objects that delight and inspire audiences to explore a world of creative re-use, and mixes live actors with story-telling and audience participation.

August 3 @ Noon—SRP Closing Program Picnic (All ages). Celebrate National Watermelon Day and the last day of the Summer Reading Program with a picnic that includes hotdogs, watermelon and old-fashioned games!
