For Kids

Storytime Artists--Tuesdays 3:30-4:30 (rotates with occasional Science Time and Kids Crafting programs)
Toddler Storytime--Wednesdays 10:30-11:30 (infant to 3 years)
Our weekly storytimes are designed to be fun and engaging programs filled with stories, songs, rhymes, games, crafts, movement and creative play! Youth Services Librarian Stephanie brings a wealth of imagination and expertise to her role, making each storytime a welcoming, fun, and creative experience for children of all ages!

We publish bimonthly schedules of storytime themes--printed copies are available in the library. Special storytime schedules are created during winter break and during our Summer Reading Program. Check our Facebook page for current event information or call us at 503-845-6401 to hear about this week's programs!

Lego Club--Tuesdays 4:45-6:00

Come join us and build with our Legos! No registration required and free of charge!  Drop in and see what you can make--we provide all the bricks, you provide the imagination! We have Legos for ages 3 and up.

Indoor Playtime--Wednesdays 11:30-12:00
This fun unstructured play time for active little ones immediately follows our Toddler Storytime each Wednesday, in the Community Room. Indoor Playtime runs from 11:30-12:30 each Wednesday.

Read to the Dogs is our monthly program which encourages children and emerging readers to practice reading to one of our two wonderfully friendly certified therapy dogs! Our gentle and fuzzy volunteer canine friends,  Maggie and Vuelie, are looking forward to hearing you read a story! Sign up for a 15 minute spot and build your child's reading confidence and enjoyment! (Monthly dates vary, please check our program calendar and Facebook events page).
